Link policy

We link only to:

1. Official government domains — city and ward sites (lg.jp), national ministries and agencies (go.jp), and metro.tokyo.lg.jp. These are always preferred.
2. Public institutions — official English pages of quasi-governmental bodies (for example, the Tokyo Intercultural Portal Site run by the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation TSUNAGARI).
3. Essential service providers — for utilities only (electricity, gas), where the provider is a private company and no government page can start the service for you.

We never link to aggregator sites, affiliate sites, or advertising-supported guides. Every link is verified by a human before it is published; anything we could not verify is not published.
